AMES GRADUATION!!! :D

I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to go to AMES! I can't even fully express all the amazing experiences I've had, friends that have become more like family, and so much more that has happened in the last four years of my life! Not many people can say that they absolutely loved high school, but I would not go back and change anything. I'm also so excited to start this next chapter of my life at the U!! Thanks so much to everyone who supported me through these past few years, I couldn't have made it without you!

Awards Banquet 2012

2012 Senior Awards Banquet! I've been fortunate enough to be invited to this the past three years and it is so great to celebrate the accomplishments of my fellow AMESians! I'm so happy my mom and Curtis could be there with me too!

Last Friday Night Party

One of the last parties of Senior Year!! We went up to my sister's house on trax (dressed in our 80's attire), played Just Dance on the Wii, watched movies, and stayed up most of the night!

Festival of Trees 2011

My friends and I went to the Festival of Trees this year to see the tree we decorated and donated in honor of Lindy Clark. She passed away in August this year and it was a great loss to our school family, her friends and loved ones, and the world she wanted to make a difference for. 

It was great to see her honored in this way.

Art History Field Trip

 The AP Art History class I tutor for went on a field trip to sacred spaces around Salt Lake City and it was so interesting! We went to the Jewish Synagogue Kol Ami, the Cathedral of the Madeleine, and St. Mark's Cathedral. It was so interesting to see the different worship spaces!

Pods

This shows the process of demolition, painting and decorating the pods!  I decided for my senior project at AMES to do something that would improve the school and the pods were a huge mess, so I got a group together to fix them!  It didn't turn out how we had planned, but really anything was an improvement!  They'll be so much better for studying now!
